Well talk about untapped potential. Hard rock fuelling space armadas while looking into a middle age crisis sounds like one of the most stupid yet awesome premise of all times but this series wastes it completely. Aside from the drama and the characters, everything else was one big boring mess and it felt like an escapist empowerment fantasy during most of its duration. There are way better alternatives out there, including FLCL which I also didn't like but it blows away this series completely and it made it obsolete in just one year and with half its duration.
