What's the deal with movies based on comic books these days? All it takes for them to become really successful and acclaimed is to be darker and more serious than the MCU and they are labeled as masterpieces, and they are not. As for Joker, is a pretty good origin movie but there are two things which made it impossible for me to completely love it: one is the unnecessarily slow pacing and the other is Phoenix's laugh. A silly reason, I know, but hey this is a list about stuff I expected to love or like and I did not so whatever reasons I come up with are valid.
