They did mention that, the sons were in denial or defending him , the wife claimed she didn't know about them, and was actually against her husband ever since he was found out.

“Since I kept hearing some great things about this movie, I was really eager to check it out. To be honest, with its running time of more than 9 hours,”

“The second season adapts the divisive Farmland arc, which mutates the plot from a manly war drama to mostly an introspective slice of life drama in a farm. The change is huge and it’s understandable why many don’t like it, myself included, I found it to be a very dull season for the most part, a” read more

“Back in 2019 I remember starting two big titles within the medium at the same time. I began watching Legend of the Galactic Heroes and reading Vinland Saga and switch between them two whenever I didn’t find one of them fun, so after some point in the “second season” of LOGH I would focus entir” read more

Vinland Saga Season 2
The second season to a great anime which is actually just as good if not better in theme exploration and characterization, but at the expense of plot progression and pacing, while mutating the plot from a pyschological war to a coming of age drama on a farm. Too big and dull of a change for me, I'm not following this franchise, which I already dropped once in its manga format for how boring I found it.

The Apothecary Diaries
Well, I watched half a season of this show, I was curious about it because of the premise and all the hype and praise it got, but after 50% of the (first) series I still don't see what is so great about it. The production, directing and atmosphere are very good, the main character is interesting to follow, but I don't see anything in the plot. All I see is two characters that are very good at what they have to do plot-wise on a semi-episodic manner, and good drama that is undercut by comedy. If the series was all the time like episodes 4, 8, 9, and more specifically, 11, I would keep watching it and consider it good or even great, but up until episode 12 it wasn't, seeing how easily the main issue presented in it was resolved (or not?, I'm confused by the next episode preview), and I otherwise would prefer more seasons of Oooku instead.

“Note: This will cover the whole franchise up until this point, since I don’t find much to say about each entry on their own.

I didn’t know about this series until the ova mini-series came out and got me interested in the concept right away, as it seemed to be like a fantasy version of ” read more

“I had this ridiculously unnecessarily long title under my radar for a while before it aired because it seemed like it would be cute, but I was also worried because, as other manga and anime before it, it could go down a perverse route at any moment, thankfully it didn’t and remained as it began th” read more
